Methadone Maintenance Program
Methadone is a synthetic narcotic developed during World War II and is a medical form of treatment for narcotic addiction. The drug acts as a blocking agent affecting the opiate receptor site in the brain eliminating withdrawal symptoms associated with narcotic addiction.When medically prescribe by a physician and properly administered and when combined with counseling. Methadone will enable a patient to live a productive, healthy, normal life style. Methadone will not effect the immune system, kidneys, liver or heart.
Opiate use can cause damage to the brain's receptors, infection of the heart and valves, liver diseases, respiratory illness and death.
Methadone is an effective drug for the treatment of opioid addiction.
Suboxone Treatment
Suboxone is a medication that stops painful withdrawal symptoms and cravings from opiates. Buprenorphine is the active ingredient in Suboxone, which is a partial opioid agonist. Suboxone medication when taken daily, along with counseling will help you rebuild your life. Counseling is a key component in treatment.Domestic Violence Counseling
NBCC is licensed by the State of Nevada to provide classes to individuals that have been charged with domestic battery.
Classes available in English and SpanishSubstance/Alcohol Abuse Counseling
NBCC offers Substance Abuse Assessments. Our licensed counselors can do a comprehensive assessment and make recommendations for treatment. NBCC offers individual and group counseling for those individuals faced with an addiction.
Family/group counseling for individuals who have a family member participating in the program can join a group for support and information . We strive to educate family members to help them understand what methadone can do for their love one .

This course is available to persons that are in need of help in learning ways to control their anger. The course will teach techniques on controlling, not eliminating anger.

This class is designed to teach effective parenting skills and to equip an individual with skills to be a better parent and make better parenting decisions.

This course is available to persons that are unable to control their impulses. The course will teach techniques on controlling these impulses and the consequences when there is a lack of control.

This course is designed to educate individuals on the effects of alcohol and consequences of its use on themselves, and family members. The course will address the legal conseqences of driving under the influence.
Classes available in English and SpanishVictim Impact Panel
Victim Impact is geared toward helping offenders to become more aware of the impact that crime has on victims and to take responsibility for their actions and begin to make amends. This class will exposed the offenders to the trauma, emotional pain that is commonly experience by innocent victims and their families as a results of a DUI incident.
